The Business Software Centre has developed a unique technology and an e-commerce service to enable the distribution of application software on a subscription basis. The service makes it possible for potential customers to use your applications on a rental basis. The technology ensures that they will only be able to use them for as long as they continue to pay.

Use our technology to protect yours

Using our proprietary technology, TBSC Rental Bridge™, we create a protected version of your application ready to be rented through the Rentsoft™ service. Web, Windows and Virtualised application software can all be made available in the service and all software can be disabled if the customer ceases payment.

Windows applications do not require a permanent connection to the internet to operate. The application and its data is stored locally but permission to use the application is only granted if a current subscription is in place. The technology will alert the user of any breach in payment and provide a grace period but will ultimately disable usage if a subsequent payment is not made.

You choose where your rental applications are made available and the terms under which they are rented.

We host the rental versions and make them available on the virtual shelves of as many Rentsoft™ services as you require. We process the sales, collect the subscription payments, download the software and ensure that the end user complies with your EULA and rental terms. In return, we notify you of your transactions, provide financial reports and issue your royalties.

Availability in Rentsoft™ Marketplace is included with all services. We can also create and host a dedicated service in your name as well as make your rental applications available in other third-party Rentsoft™ services. Or you may prefer us to create a completely bespoke service utlising your current e-commerce infrastructure; the choice is yours.

Whichever service you choose, you remain in control of your product marketing pre-sale and can establish a relationship with your rental customers post-sale.
